- Strategic Leadership & System Management: Establish, implement, and maintain the comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) based on ISO 9001 principles. Set departmental goals and quality objectives in alignment with the company's operational strategy.
- Compliance & Certification Oversight: Serve as the management representative for external audits. Ensure all products comply with relevant safety standards, specifically IEC/EN 60335 (Electrical Safety) and industry-specific hygiene standards (HACCP/NSF) required for food service equipment.
- Team & Resource Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the team of Quality Engineers, QC Inspectors, and Technicians. Allocate resources effectively to critical areas like welding, final assembly, and incoming material inspection.
- Continuous Improvement (CI): Drive quality improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean/Six Sigma principles) aimed at reducing the Cost of Quality (COQ), minimizing scrap/rework rates, and enhancing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Supplier & Customer Relations: Oversee the Supplier Quality Assurance program, including supplier audits and performance monitoring. Act as the primary point of contact for customer complaints and coordinate internal responses (CAPA).
- Reporting & Analysis: Establish a robust data collection and analysis system. Present periodic Quality Performance Reviews (QPR) to the senior management team, highlighting key metrics, trends, and risk assessments.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. Experience from 7 years to 10 years of professional experience, with at least 4 years in a senior supervisory or Quality Manager role within a manufacturing environment.Essential experience in Metal Fabrication, Welding processes, and Stainless-Steel manufacturing (experience with kitchen equipment or HVAC/Refrigeration is highly preferred).Proven expertise in ISO 9001:2015. Certification as a Lead Auditor or a Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is a strong advantage.Demonstrable knowledge and experience implementing product safety standards, particularly IEC/EN 60335.
