JOB PURPOSE

  • Deploy manufacturing excellence system (12 pillars & 6 focus areas) while assuring compliance with standards through auditing performance control system.
  • Support product supply financial analysis (CAPEX, Budget & ITQAN Saving); update monthly plants cost by cost center by Area, analyze cost elements (Overtime, casual labor, …. etc.) trends to identify the root cause(s) of any deviation.

Planning and Execution

  • Execute plans individually and by utilizing a cross-functional team to meet department targets
  • Deploy plans for both short- and long-term application and benefit.
  • Report FI Projects progress and outcome

  • Plans are prepared timely and accurately in line with the company direction for improvement.

Budgets and Plans

  • Implement all the visualization activities across the BU.
  • Deploy and audit all the AM activities.
  • Update and report the improvements budget to achieve the company goals.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the Supply Chain budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified.
  • Monitor the budget/ Spending vs business plan.
  • Deploy & follow up action plans to absorb any hurt or deviation from plan.
  • Monitor MOH & Direct labor cost elements.
  • Budgets and plans are prepared timely and accurately in line with the annual budget parameters and timescales
  • Financial variance versus budget

  • Communicate the change management activities and directions across all departments.
  • Coach others to enhance their personal performance setting focused targets and expectations.

Supply Chain Cost Elements

  • Tracking and monitoring the actual vs. the approved budget and report it on monthly basis.
  • Highlighting the opportunities for further improvement.
  • Monitor ITQAN saving Project and report on Monthly basis
  • Accurate and timely mannered reports.

  • Develop business object reporting system with finance & IT to breakdown Supply Chain expenses per cost center

Problem Solving

  • Breaks problems or processes into component parts to help identify a range of solutions using lean methodologies.
  • Support in PDCA & DMAIC training sessions.
  • Support in RCA tools training sessions and guidance

  • Problems are Identified and the route cause is reached.

Loss Elimination

  • Define and monitor the non - value added expenses within the Supply Chain Variable cost in order to eliminate losses, through analyzing the conversion cost elements (casual labor, Energy consumption, Flour & packaging material losses)
  • Support the waste elimination projects with the relevant area owners in order to eliminate losses and monitor the cost saving projects' implementation with monthly reporting to ensure target is fully achieved.
  • Reporting RM & Packaging Losses against BOM on monthly basis, monitor action plans developed to offset hits
  • Delivering ITQAN saving projects target and timely reporting on Supply Chain Dashboard

Project Management

  • Manage own time to formulate priorities to manage several tasks at once.
  • Monitor schedule and performance of projects and events to evaluate and take actions to achieve sustained success.

  • Effective communication channels are maintained inside team.

Day-to-day Operations

  • Identify and deliver service improvement activity across the business through employing process improvement methodologies and lean thinking.
  • Leading the internal audits
  • Monitor and track focused improvement projects.
  • Support & prepare SC Daily direction setting meeting
  • Monitor the day-to-day operations of the factory to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures

Business Process Improvement

  • Develop and support data capture and data management processes for core systems (KPI’s Dashboard)
  • Maintain weekly/monthly status reports to key stakeholders tracking the status of the improvement projects.
  • Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety and, quality management.

  • Number and quality of improvements are line with corporate expectations and implemented

Standards & Regulations

  • Ensure that all activities are monitored, and regulatory compliance audits and inspections are conducted for an effective implementation of regulatory standards

  • Supervise the preparation of timely and accurate reports of process performance to meet Savola and department requirements, policies and standards.
