- Oversee the daily operations of the quality laboratory and ensure the accuracy and reliability of all tests.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures in line with local and international standards.
- Analyze test results, prepare technical reports, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the laboratory team to maintain high performance and technical excellence.
- Ensure raw materials and finished products comply with quality specifications.
- Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues and reduce defects.
- Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies within the laboratory.
Knowledge & Education:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.Extensive experience in the Quality Department within a glass container manufacturing plant.Relevant Experience:Minimum 12 years of experience in glass manufacturing, preferably within Quality Control.Technical Knowledge:Strong expertise in Quality Control methodologies, standards, and testing procedures.Solid understanding of quality systems, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement tools.Computer Skills:Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).Strong internet research skills and efficient use of email communication systems.Language Skills:Fluent command of the English language (spoken and written).
