Role Overview
- The selected candidate will provide implementation, configuration, training, and post-implementation technical support services for hotel and restaurant clients using Oracle Hospitality (MICROS) and Infor solutions.
- The role involves setting up, configuring, upgrading, and supporting applications such as Opera PMS, Opera Cloud PMS, Sales & Event, Simphony POS, and Infor SunSystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, install, train, and support Opera PMS, Sales & Event, OXI, and related interfaces.
- Manage and resolve customer support requests received via ticketing system, phone, or email.
- Analyze and troubleshoot application issues, ensuring timely resolution as per the SLA.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions in the ticketing logging system.
- Liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure effective communication and follow-up.
- Provide technical and operational training to hotel staff during implementation and go-live.
- Handle application upgrades, system migrations, and post-live support.
- Stay updated with product releases and adhere to support procedures.
- Work collaboratively with higher-level support or development teams when needed.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for a tech-savvy consultant who understands both the technical and operational aspects of hotel and F&B systems. The person must be capable of handling end-to-end implementation and support, ensuring smooth operations for clients in Saudi Arabia.
Experience:Minimum 3 years in implementing and supporting Oracle Hospitality solutions (Opera PMS, S&C, OXI, Simphony POS).Experience in hotel or restaurant system management, front office, reservations and/or accounting dept will be an advantage.Familiarity with system integration, configuration, and user training.Technical Skills:Knowledge of Oracle databases, APIs, and reporting tools.Experience with Windows Server environments and networking basics.Advantageous to have full-stack or API development exposure.Education:Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Hospitality Management, or related field.Other Skills:Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Fluency in Arabic will be an advantage.Customer-focused with the ability to handle stress and meet deadlines.Capable of working independently or as part of a team.Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays when required.Ability to travel if necessary.
