Scope: Global oversight of all Information Technology infrastructure, security, enterprise applications (ERP, MES, CRM, etc.), and process excellence across Manufacturing and Finance operations.

Position Summary

The Director of Enterprise Systems & Digital Transformation is a strategic leadership role responsible for maximizing the value of the organization's core business systems and technology infrastructure. Reporting directly to the COO, this leader will drive the company's digital strategy, leading all IT operations and ensuring our systems enable efficiency, scalability, and competitive advantage across Manufacturing and Financial functions.

This role requires a unique blend of deep manufacturing and financial process knowledge, technical ERP expertise, and exceptional leadership skills to drive cultural change and technical savviness within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

I. Strategic Leadership & Digital Transformation (50%)

  • Strategy Ownership: Define, develop, and execute the multi-year IT and Digital Transformation roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall corporate objectives and reporting progress directly to the Executive team.
  • ERP & Core Systems Ownership: Serve as the executive owner for all major enterprise systems (ERP, BI, CRM, MES), guiding system selection, implementation, maintenance, and continuous optimization across all modules.
  • Business Process Re-engineering (BPR): Lead the identification, documentation, and standardization of future-state (to-be) business processes, focusing on eliminating gaps, ensuring efficiency, and promoting best practices in Manufacturing (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Production Planning) and Finance (e.g., Record-to-Report, Cost Accounting).
  • Change Management: Champion cultural adoption of new technologies and standardized processes, directly addressing the internal lack of ERP culture and building technical savviness throughout the user base.

II. IT Operations & Infrastructure Management (30%)

  • IT Oversight: Direct and manage all daily IT operations, including infrastructure (network, servers, cloud services), end-user support (Help Desk), data center management, and budget oversight for the entire IT function.
  • Cybersecurity & Compliance: Establish and enforce robust IT security policies and procedures, ensuring data integrity, system security, and compliance with all relevant industry and regulatory standards.
  • Vendor Management: Select, manage, and negotiate contracts with all hardware, software, and external consulting vendors to ensure delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

III. Team & Talent Development (20%)

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the internal team of IT professionals, system analysts, and business process owners.
  • Governance: Implement effective IT governance structures, including a Steering Committee and Business Process Owner teams, to facilitate collaborative decision-making and project prioritization.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT and business systems, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing a full-scope IT department.Proven track record of successfully leading at least one full-cycle Tier 1 or Tier 2 ERP implementation (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Infor) in a complex manufacturing environment.Deep functional understanding of core manufacturing processes (MRP, WMS, Planning, Shop Floor) and financial processes (GL, AP, AR, Costing, Budgeting).Exceptional project management (PMP certification is a plus), change management, and stakeholder communication skills.
