Slaughterhouse Production Section Head

  • Participate in preparing the annual production plan and discuss it with the direct supervisor before implementation.
  • Develop work methods, identify idle capacities, and coordinate with the Sales Department to optimize their utilization.
  • Supervise the preparation of the live chicken reception area, including cleaning and disinfection.
  • Monitor the reception of live chickens according to the established schedule.
  • Ensure the readiness of machines for operation and coordinate with the Maintenance Department in case of any repairs.
  • Verify the recording of dead-on-arrival, medically condemned, and underweight chickens, and prepare a report accordingly.
  • Ensure the availability of the department’s required raw materials.
  • Coordinate with the Quality Department to follow up on product defects and work to eliminate them.
  • Develop products, improve production methods and quality, reduce the consumption rates of materials and supplies, and apply these studies within available resources.
  • Follow up on installation, renewal, and introduction programs for machines and equipment.
  • Monitor the availability of raw materials and production supplies necessary for receiving, slaughtering, and processing operations, and ensure an adequate number of workers for each supervisor.
  • Organize all receiving, slaughtering, and processing operations to achieve production targets while ensuring occupational health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Maintain all necessary records to ensure effective supervision of the receiving, slaughtering, and processing operations.
  • Identify and implement quality improvement programs aimed at reducing the costs of receiving, slaughtering, and processing operations.
  • Provide technical consultations regarding all aspects of receiving, slaughtering, and processing for supervisors and other employees in the department to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Comply with the quality management system procedures and apply all related forms and instructions, ensuring adherence to food safety, occupational health, and environmental standards.
  • Prepare a training and development plan to enhance the technical and administrative efficiency of subordinates, in coordination with the direct supervisor and the Human Resources Department.
  • Prepare performance evaluations for subordinates within the department, in coordination with the direct supervisor and the Human Resources Department.
  • Perform any other duties assigned within the scope of responsibility.
