Production Management:

• Plan, organize, and manage daily production operations for A4 paper cutting, sizing, packaging, and finishing.
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met.
• Monitor machine performance (cutting, slitting, rewinding, packaging lines).
• Optimize production processes to reduce waste and enhance efficiency.

2. Quality Assurance:

• Ensure compliance with product quality specifications (GSM, whiteness, moisture level, cutting accuracy, packaging standards).
• Coordinate with the quality control team to implement quality procedures and corrective actions.
• Monitor quality KPIs and ensure continuous improvement.

3. Team Leadership & Training:

• Supervise production supervisors, machine operators, and support staff.
• Assign tasks, evaluate performance, and provide coaching and training.
• Promote a safe, disciplined, and high-productivity work environment.

4. Maintenance Coordination:

• Work closely with the maintenance department to ensure proper preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery.
• Minimize downtime and improve line availability.
• Participate in maintenance planning for critical equipment (slitter machines, sheeters, packers).

5. Inventory & Material Management:

• Monitor raw material levels (jumbo reels, packaging materials, chemicals).
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure consistent supply.
• Reduce material waste and optimize usage.

6. Reporting & Documentation:

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Track KPIs: production output, machine efficiency, downtime, waste %, and quality metrics.
• Implement production SOPs and ensure documentation compliance.

7. Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure all production operations comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Implement and monitor safety procedures and conduct periodic audits.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
• Additional certification in Production Management or Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in production management within a paper manufacturing factory (preferably A4 or printing paper lines).
• Strong experience with paper converting equipment (slitters, sheeters, cutters, automatic packing lines).
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Knowledge of production planning and control.
• Good understanding of quality control for paper products.
• Ability to analyze production data and implement improvements.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Experience in high-speed A4 paper production lines.
• Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.).
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement (5S, Kaizen).
