- Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure high-quality materials and competitive pricing for plastic packaging production.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with vendors to secure optimal procurement deals.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment of raw materials such as PET, PE, and PP.
- Process purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality assurance teams to align purchasing activities with operational needs.
- Track supplier performance, resolve issues, and maintain strong, long-term vendor relationships.
- Analyze market trends and conduct cost analyses to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement and supplier management.
- Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance for management review.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.● 3 to 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles, preferably in the manufacturing or packaging industry.● Strong negotiation and contract management skills.● Proven ability to evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
