- Prepare and analyze inventory valuations, ensuring alignment with financial and operational objectives.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes affecting cost accounting in manufacturing.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.5-7 years of proven experience in cost accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, practices, and procedures.Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems relevant to manufacturing operations.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced office environment.Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
