- Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities for all mechanical equipment and systems within the plant.
- Diagnose mechanical failures, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production.
- Supervise and coordinate with maintenance teams and external contractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Monitor equipment performance, analyze trends, and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards during all maintenance operations.
- Participate in root cause analysis for recurring mechanical issues and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new mechanical equipment and upgrades.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize equipment utilization and support process improvements.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior maintenance staff and operators.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.4-5 years of proven experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, and conveyors.Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.Familiarity with maintenance management systems and documentation practices.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.member of the Egyptian engineers syndicate.
