To ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of production lines and utilities in biscuits and bakery manufacturing plants. Responsible for minimizing downtime, enhancing equipment performance, and supporting continuous production flow.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and perform preventive and corrective maintenance of bakery equipment (mixers, ovens, conveyors, packaging machines, etc.).
- Monitor the performance of all machines and utilities (air compressors, chillers, boilers).
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults and ensure fast resolution to reduce production downtime.
- Implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules (PM plans) for all equipment.
- Maintain proper documentation of all maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and breakdown reports.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure smooth and continuous operation.
- Contribute to machine upgrades and process improvements for higher efficiency and energy savings.
- Ensure all equipment complies with food safety, hygiene, and safety regulations (GMP, HACCP, ISO).
- Manage and train a team of technicians and operators on safe and efficient equipment operation.
- Assist in planning and installing new production lines or equipment.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance and operation within a biscuits, bakery, or food manufacturing plant.
- Strong technical knowledge of bakery machinery and control systems.
- Familiarity with PLC systems, automation, and production software.
- Good understanding of GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards in the food industry.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to breakdowns.
