Core Responsibilities:
Infrastructure & Virtualization
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale Windows technologies including server platforms, desktop platforms, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, Microsoft/VMware virtualization, and collaboration services.
- Assess and redesign existing infrastructure for scalability and performance
- Manage datacenter operations: power, cooling, racks, and cabling
- Deploy/manage virtualization platforms: VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, SCVMM
- Integrate and support hybrid environments with Azure services
Systems & Identity
- Administer AD, ADFS, Group Policy, Windows/Linux servers
- Manage hybrid identity: Azure AD, SSO, MFA
- Configure and optimize storage (SAN/NAS) and backup solutions (Veeam, Veritas, Acronis)
Networking & Security
- Design and maintain LAN/WAN, VLANs, spanning tree, firewall rules
- Administer and secure perimeter firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto)
- Implement and monitor security policies: access control, patching, vulnerability scanning
- Integrate SIEM tools and centralized logging for incident response
- Manage DDoS protection and web filtering via Cloudflare (WAF, Zero Trust)
Cloud & SaaS Management
- Manage Azure computer, networking, and storage resources
- Plan hybrid Microsoft 365 deployments
- Administer Google Workspace and ensure its security posture
IT Operations & Governance
- Define IT KPIs, track SLAs, and manage operations via ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceDesk Plus, ManageEngine)
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, driving a collaborative and growth-oriented culture
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field7+ years of IT experience, including at least 3 years in infrastructure leadership rolesExcellent hands-on experience with Aruba Switches and Aruba ClearPassStrong knowledge of ERP systems, especially Microsoft DynamicsExperience with VoIP systemsProven experience with systems planning, infrastructure security, and IT operations best practices
