A seasoned Project Manager with over 10 years of experience in planning, executing, and delivering Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects. The ideal candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams through the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and project timelines, while maintaining strong stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and completion of OHTL projects (132kV to 500kV and above).
• Coordinate all project phases including design review, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Manage project teams, including engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with local and international transmission line standards and safety regulations.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and risk assessments throughout the project lifecycle.
• Liaise with clients, utilities, government authorities, and other stakeholders for project approvals and progress reporting.
• Control project costs and timelines and implement corrective actions to address delays or budget overruns.
• Prepare and submit regular project reports, documentation, and performance analysis.
• Ensure all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) protocols are enforced on-site.
• Manage contracts, claims, and variations with vendors and subcontractors.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in engineering Electricity or civil
• Experience at least 10 Years in Overhead Transmission Lines
• Proven track record of managing transmission line projects up to 500kV or higher.
• Proficient in project management tools (Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Strong knowledge of transmission line design, tower erection, stringing, and commissioning.
• Familiar with international standards such as IEC, IEEE, and local grid codes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
