- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all plant utility systems, including boilers, chillers, compressors, HVAC, and water treatment facilities.
- Monitor and analyze utility system performance to ensure optimal efficiency and reliability.
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all utility equipment.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to support uninterrupted manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards related to utility operations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, logs, and reports for all utility systems and activities.
- Identify opportunities for energy conservation and cost reduction within utility operations.
- Supervise and train utility technicians and support staff as needed.
- Assist in the planning and execution of utility system upgrades or expansions.
- Respond promptly to utility-related emergencies and participate in root cause analysis for incidents.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or a related field.3-5 years of experience in utility engineering or plant utilities management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of utility systems such as boilers, chillers, air compressors, HVAC, and water treatment.Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to work on-site and respond to emergencies outside of regular hours if required.Proficiency in using maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
