- Plan, organize, and control daily and monthly production activities to achieve company targets.
- Supervise the entire production process — including molding, pleating, assembly, testing, and packaging.
- Ensure that filters are manufactured according to specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.
- Monitor machine performance, process parameters, and material usage to optimize efficiency.
- Coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure preventive maintenance and minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement production schedules, manpower plans, and workflow optimization.
- Ensure compliance with ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949, and other automotive industry standards.
- Lead and motivate production teams to achieve productivity, quality, and safety goals.
- Monitor and control waste, rework, and production costs.
- Review daily production reports, analyze deviations, and take corrective actions.
- Collaborate with quality, engineering, and procurement departments for process improvement.
- Support new product development (NPD) and assist in production trials and process validation.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations in all operations.
- Train operators and supervisors on production techniques, equipment operation, and quality requirements.
- Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement (Kaizen, 5S, TPM) initiatives.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation for audits and management review.
Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Production Engineering.
Minimum 8–12 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in automotive filter production.
Strong understanding of filter production processes — pleating, curing, assembly, and testing.
Proven experience in managing production lines and supervising large teams.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
Knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 quality management systems.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
