The Production Manager will oversee the entire manufacturing process of automotive filters, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met. This role requires strong leadership, process optimization skills, and deep knowledge of automotive filter production technologies and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and manage daily production operations to meet delivery schedules and customer requirements.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production teams, ensuring optimal use of manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor production processes for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with ISO/TS 16949 or IATF 16949 quality standards and other automotive industry regulations.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to address non-conformities and maintain product quality.
- Oversee preventive maintenance schedules for production machinery and equipment.
- Manage inventory levels for raw materials and finished products.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to improve skills and performance.
- Prepare and present production reports to management.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- experience in production management in the automotive filter manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of automotive production processes, including pleating, sealing, molding, and assembly.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and MS Office applications.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
