The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities for infrastructure and building projects are executed in compliance with quality standards, project specifications, and applicable codes. This role involves inspecting materials, monitoring site activities, documenting results, and coordinating with consultants and contractors to maintain the highest levels of quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the project-specific QA/QC plan in line with ISO 9001 and client requirements.
• Conduct inspections and tests on-site to ensure that materials and workmanship comply with specifications and approved drawings.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation including inspection & test plans (ITPs), method statements, checklists, and reports.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients for inspections and approvals.
• Monitor construction activities such as earthworks, concrete, finishing, structural, and MEP works for quality compliance.
• Identify and report non-conformities (NCRs), propose corrective actions, and follow up on their resolution.
• Verify material certificates, test results, and ensure traceability.
• Ensure that quality control procedures are followed by subcontractors and site personnel.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits as needed.
• Assist in preparing final QA/QC dossiers for project handover.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural, or Mechanical Engineering.
• minimum 6 years of experience in QA/QC for infrastructure (roads, utilities, sewerage) and building construction (residential, commercial, institutional).
• Familiarity with international quality standards (ISO, ASTM, BS, etc.).
• Knowledge of construction codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and QA/QC documentation systems.
• Strong analytical and observational skills.
• Good communication and reporting abilities.
• Certification in quality (e.g., ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor) is a plus.
