- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on measurement and control systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to instrumentation, automation, and control equipment within the plant.
- Calibrate, test, and adjust sensors, transmitters, controllers, and other process instruments according to industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement system upgrades and modifications for improved efficiency and reliability.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, calibration records, and equipment histories.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance and repair activities.
- Participate in root cause analysis for equipment failures and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new measurement and control equipment.
- Provide technical support and training to operations personnel regarding instrumentation and control systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing plant performance and reducing operational costs.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance of measurement and control systems in an industrial or manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of instrumentation, automation, and process control principles.Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing sensors, transmitters, PLCs, and related equipment.Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to regulatory standards.Willingness to work on-site in a fast-paced, operational environment.member of the Egyptian engineer's syndicate .
