Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering:

• Engage with quality, production, and supply chain teams to understand quality processes, inspection requirements, and standards.
• Document functional requirements, workflows, and gaps between business needs and SAP standard functionality.
• Translate business requirements into SAP QM solutions.

2. SAP QM Configuration & Implementation:

• Configure SAP QM modules including Quality Planning, Quality Inspection, Quality Control, and Quality Certificates.
• Set up inspection types, inspection plans, sampling procedures, and quality notifications.
• Integrate SAP QM with SAP PP, MM, SD, and other relevant modules.
• Support SAP S/4HANA QM implementations, upgrades, and rollouts.

3. Testing & Quality Assurance:

• Prepare and execute Unit Test Scripts, Integration Test Scripts, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Collaborate with technical teams to resolve defects and issues identified during testing.
• Validate that SAP QM configurations meet business requirements and quality standards.

4. Documentation & Training:

• Prepare functional specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, and custom developments.
• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for QA and production teams.
• Maintain documentation of SAP QM configurations, workflows, and best practices.

5. Support & Continuous Improvement:

• Provide post-implementation support for SAP QM-related issues.
• Identify opportunities to streamline quality processes, optimize inspections, and enhance SAP QM functionalities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and efficient quality management practices.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an SAP QM Functional Consultant.
• Strong knowledge of SAP QM module and quality management processes in manufacturing or production environments.
• Experience with SAP configuration, integration, and best practices.
• Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA QM is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
• SAP QM Certification.
• Experience with quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or other industry-specific standards.
• Familiarity with SAP reporting tools (BW, Analytics Cloud) for quality management.
• Prior experience in large-scale SAP implementations, rollouts, or global projects.
