The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, supporting audits, and contributing to budgeting and financial reporting. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial control, supporting operational needs, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Ledger Management:
Maintain accurate records of all general ledger transactions, journal entries, and accruals. - Accounts Reconciliation:
Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, customer balances, and intercompany transactions. - Financial Reporting:
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. - Accounts Payable & Receivable Oversight:
Monitor and review supplier invoices, client receivables, payment cycles, and ensure timely settlements. - Tax Compliance:
Prepare VAT, and income tax filings in coordination with tax advisors and ensure timely submission. - Audit Preparation:
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation, schedules, and reconciliations. - Cost Allocation for Projects:
Track and assign project costs, ensuring alignment with budgets and project codes (especially for integration or smart systems projects).
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.3-6 years of professional accounting experienceExcellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.Advanced in Excel and financial reporting tools, with strong command of ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Odoo.
