Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring, preferably within the real estate or construction sector. This role involves preparing detailed project schedules, coordinating with different departments, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project timelines.
• Track project progress, identify delays, and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare and update cash flow forecasts, resource histograms, and progress reports.
• Review contractor schedules, progress reports, and claims for extension of time.
• Support tendering and bidding processes by preparing project schedules and resource estimates.
• Conduct periodic site visits to verify progress and update schedules accordingly.
• Generate weekly and monthly planning reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and project planning procedures.

Skills

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in construction or real estate development projects.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, critical path analysis, and risk assessment.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
