- Oversee and manage daily steel production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are consistently met.
- Develop, implement, and optimize production processes to maximize output and minimize waste.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics to ensure seamless workflow.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust resources as needed to meet project deadlines and client requirements.
- Analyze production data and generate reports to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations within the steel production facility.
- Lead and mentor production teams, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to machinery, equipment, and production processes.
- Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to implement new technologies and process enhancements.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and quality control initiatives to uphold product standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.5 to 7 years of proven experience in steel production or a similar heavy manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of steel manufacturing processes, equipment, and industry best practices.Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage production operations effectively.Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization and efficiency.Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in industrial settings.Proficient in using production management software and data analysis tools.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing production demands.Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
