• 1. Project Supervision & Execution:
• Oversee all site construction activities for Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects (66kV, 132kV, 230kV, 400kV, etc.).
• Plan, monitor, and control erection, stringing, and commissioning of transmission lines according to project specifications.
• Manage site schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment utilization efficiently.
• Ensure foundation, tower erection, conductor stringing, and associated works meet quality standards and safety protocols.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, method statements, and work procedures.
• 2. Team Leadership & Coordination:
• Lead and supervise site engineers, supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project managers to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
• Conduct regular progress meetings and site inspections to track project milestones.
• Resolve on-site technical or operational issues in coordination with the project engineering team.
• 3. Safety & Quality Assurance:
• Enforce strict compliance with HSE standards, electrical safety protocols, and company policies.
• Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety audits at the site.
• Ensure quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) at every stage of construction.
• Review and sign off on inspection and test plans (ITPs) for site activities.
• 4. Project Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Prepare site logs, material delivery notes, and installation records.
• Report progress, delays, and resource requirements to the Project Manager.
• Ensure proper documentation for as-built drawings and handover reports.
• 5. Resource & Cost Management:
• Manage material inventory, equipment allocation, and subcontractor billing.
• Monitor project costs, productivity, and resource utilization to ensure profitability.
• Support the procurement team in identifying material needs and local suppliers.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in Overhead Transmission Line construction projects.
• Proven experience in tower erection, stringing, and commissioning of high-voltage lines (66kV and above).
• Strong understanding of project management principles, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
• Familiarity with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) or GCC utility standards is highly preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, tower schedules, and route maps.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project planning tools (Primavera or MS Project).
