HVAC Maintenance & Repair:
- Conduct preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance for all types of AC units (Package, DX, Cassette, Split, Window, etc.).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems.
- Perform overhauling, compressor replacement, gas charging, and leak detection.
- Ensure all HVAC systems function efficiently and comply with safety standards.
- Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and spare parts usage.
2. Technical Supervision & Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of technicians and maintenance staff in daily HVAC operations.
- Assign work schedules, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and performance feedback to team members.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
3. Preventive Maintenance Planning:
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC systems.
- Monitor system performance, detect inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of service.
4. System Evaluation & Improvement:
- Review HVAC system performance data and identify optimization opportunities.
- Recommend energy-efficient solutions and system upgrades.
- Ensure proper calibration and functionality of HVAC control systems.
5. Safety & Compliance:
- Enforce HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies during all maintenance activities.
- Ensure all works comply with local regulations and manufacturer standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and toolbox talks before maintenance activities.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (specialization in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning).
- Excellent experience in maintenance of all types of AC units (Package, DX, Cassette, Split, Window, etc.).
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficient in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and providing technical solutions.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, control systems, and refrigerants.
- Valid light vehicle driving license.
- GCC experience preferred.
- Knowledge of HVAC design principles and load calculations.
- Experience with BMS (Building Management Systems) and control automation.
- Certification in HVAC safety, F-Gas, or RERA standards is an advantage.
- Familiarity with energy-efficient HVAC technologies.
