Proven experience in a network administrator role
Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching
Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server
infrastructure
Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem
resolution is desired
Ability to set up and configure server hardware
Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking
Juniper, Cisco, CWNA or BCNE training
Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customer’s networks and in house
servers
Install and integrate new server hardware and applications
Keep an eye out for needed updates
Define network policies and procedures
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Network Engineering.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in network administration and security roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Cisco / Fortinet / Palo Alto firewalls
- Switches, routers, and VPN configuration
- Windows Server / Linux Administration
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, DLP).
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, or similar security frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
