We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Purchasing Manager to lead our local and international procurement operations in the confectionery manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective, high-quality, and timely purchasing of raw materials, packaging, and production supplies to support the company’s operations and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all purchasing activities for local and imported materials.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with production and business needs.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure optimal terms.
- Maintain and develop relationships with key suppliers in the confectionery industry.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging, and machinery spare parts.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Finance departments to align on materials and budgets.
- Monitor market trends, price changes, and supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality standards, and legal regulations.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.8–12 years of experience in local and international purchasing within the confectionery or food manufacturing sector (preferably candy or FMCG industry).Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.Experience in SAP ERP is a must.Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
