Laundry Specialist / Supervisor – Denim Production
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all denim washing processes to achieve target shades, textures, and hand feels.
- Develop and refine wash recipes (e.g., stone wash, enzyme wash, bleach wash, acid wash, vintage wash, -etc.) according to customer requirements and fabric behavior.
- Conduct color research and trials to reach desired resin, tint, and re-dyeing shades.
- Control chemical dosing, temperature, and process timing for consistent production results.
- Collaborate with R&D and quality teams to ensure wash effects meet buyer standards and bulk reproducibility.
- Monitor the washing line to maintain productivity, water, and chemical efficiency.
- Troubleshoot wash-related problems such as uneven shades, back-staining, and fabric damage.
- Train operators on correct handling of garments, machine settings, and safety procedures.
- Maintain records of wash recipes, samples, and production parameters for future reference.
Strong understanding of denim fabric behavior and indigo dye reactions.Experience with washing machines (Tonello, G1, or similar).Familiarity with chemicals: enzymes, softeners, bleaching agents, desizers, resins, etc.Good sense of color matching and shade evaluation under standard light sources (D65, TL84, etc.).Ability to optimize recipes for cost, sustainability, and reproducibility.
