- The Bank Accountant is responsible for managing all banking transactions and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations related to banks.
- This role involves daily reconciliation, managing transfers, handling letters of credit and guarantees, monitoring cash flow, and supporting financial reporting.
- The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of banking procedures and accounting principles.
- Record all bank transactions accurately in the accounting system.
- Reconcile bank statements on a daily and monthly basis.
- Prepare and record journal entries for bank deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
- Handle all local and international bank transfers in coordination with the finance team.
- Follow up on Letters of Credit (LCs) and Letters of Guarantee (LGs).
- Monitor daily cash position and ensure liquidity for operational needs.
- Maintain updated records of all bank accounts, transactions, and bank correspondence.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external banks to resolve discrepancies.
- Assist during internal and external audits related to bank accounts.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and Egyptian accounting standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2–4 years of experience as a Bank Accountant.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and banking operations.Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
