We’re looking for a Commercial Manager to oversee the end-to-end coordination of a land transport operations.
This role sits at the heart of the logistics cycle, ensuring that customer orders are accurately created, seamlessly executed, and continuously monitored across multiple functions.
Key Responsibilities;
- Lead the customer services team handling shipment orders on an Operational System , ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Act as the central link between clients and internal operations (trucking , clearance, sales & collections).
- Monitor order execution, resolve issues proactively, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Supervise data entry, status updates, and documentation to guarantee smooth transport operations.
- Drive performance reporting and process improvements within the customer services unit.
- Develop and coach team members, fostering responsiveness, accuracy, and customer focus.
10–15 years’ experience in transport, shipping, or logistics, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.BS degree in Logistics, Business Administration or related field.Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.Strong command of transport systems (ERP platforms).Working knowledge of customer service software, databases and toolsAbility to think strategically and to lead detailed operations.Proven leadership in cross-functional coordination and customer-facing roles.Fluent communication skills (written & spoken).
