- Participate in implementing technical office policies and procedures.
- Study the project contract documents (time schedule, project design drawings, BOQ, etc.).
- Conduct shop drawings, working drawings, composite plans, and any relative technical drawings.
- Conduct QS as per submitted drawing and build BOQ for projects in Tendering cycle
- Update the shop drawing log before sending the shop drawing to the consultant for approvals.
- Prepare (RFIs, SD,…) for all missing, unclear, conflicting or other technical matters that may arise during construction.
- Choose appropriate materials based on structural specifications.
- Coordinate with the Surveying Engineer to provide him all the information about land coordinates and any site measurement required.
- Monitor sub-contractor's performance and progress at site, and and undertake site visits as required.
- Participate in solving/reporting any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise during construction to the MEP Manager for discussion and proper solution.
- Prepare as-built drawings at the end of the project and hand over to the project consultant.
- Preparing client & subcontractor Invoices/ VOs.
Minimum of 6 years of proven experience in MEP engineering within the construction industry.Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems design and implementation.Experience with prefabricated construction solutions is highly desirable.Proficiency in using AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design and modeling software.Excellent project management and organizational skills.Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.Willingness to work on-site and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
