LEAD, MARKETING FIXED SEGMENT

Purpose of the job

As a Senior Marketing Specialist Fixed Broadband (Home DSL) at Orange Egypt, you will be responsible for growing and managing the DSL customer base through strategic marketing initiatives. Your role includes driving customer acquisition, retention, and lifecycle management by identifying key market triggers and developing compelling offers. You will work cross-functionally to ensure successful go-to-market execution, continuous market analysis, and deliver outstanding customer experience across all touchpoints.

Duties and responsibilities

Product & Segment Strategy

  • Identify key growth drivers and revenue levers in the DSL segment to develop data-driven marketing campaigns.
  • Understand customer demographics, behaviors, and socioeconomic segments to tailor campaigns and offers effectively.
  • Detect upgrade and migration barriers and provide actionable solutions to enhance adoption.

Acquisition & Retention

  • Design and implement compelling acquisition and retention offers to grow the customer base and reduce churn.
  • Lead concept development and go-to-market planning for new launches, securing internal alignment and approvals.

Marketing Communications

  • Prepare briefs for Comms teams and oversee the development of campaign materials across all channels (portal, app, IVR, etc.).
  • Develop and update sales scripts and customer service tools to support offer conversion and upselling.

Ensure consistent product messaging, positioning, and value proposition across customer touchpoints.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Project Management, IT, Regulatory, and technical teams to ensure the smooth rollout of new products and features.
  • Attend testing sessions and lead product readiness assessments ahead of launch.
  • Coordinate with the external relations team to ensure competitive alignment and readiness.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Generate, keep and present regular status reports, competitive analysis, and historical market movement logs.
  • Provide & track monthly KPIs reports & forecasts.

Training & Enablement

  • Ensure briefings delivery for customer care and sales teams on product updates and new launches.
  • Ensure all frontline teams are equipped with updated knowledge on DSL offerings and their benefits.

Product Lifecycle Management

  • Lead product concept testing to assess market readiness and acceptance before rollout.
  • Define detailed IT/business requirements to support system integration and reporting needs.

Drive pricing strategies aligned with revenue and profitability goals.

Job specification

Education

bachelors degree in marketing, business administration or a related field

Skills and Abilities

  1. 2+ years of experience in product marketing preferably in telecom, technology, or fast-moving consumer services.
  2. Good understanding of home connectivity/internet technologies, market trends, and consumer behavior.
  3. Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  4. Proficient in data analysis, pricing, and customer lifecycle management.
  5. Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
  6. Familiarity with Orange Egypt's systems, services, and customer experience standards is an advantage.
