We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Account Manager to oversee logistics operations with a focus on driver management, dispatch coordination, and assignment of deliveries. The role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills to ensure drivers are scheduled efficiently, deliveries are completed on time, and customers receive high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the daily scheduling, dispatching, and assignment of drivers to ensure efficient delivery operations.
Act as the main point of contact between drivers, clients, and internal teams, resolving issues and ensuring smooth operations.
Monitor driver performance, routes, and delivery times to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Coordinate with customers to confirm delivery requirements, timelines, and special requests.
Maintain accurate records of driver schedules, delivery logs, and client communications.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements related to transportation and logistics.
Handle driver recruitment, onboarding, and training in collaboration with HR and operations teams.
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time deliveries, fuel usage, and driver productivity.
Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing excellent account management and problem resolution.
Recommend process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or fleet management.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in logistics software, dispatch systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
