Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team located in Sohag. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide range of accounting functions, including managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company procedures. The accountant will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle thw daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
 - Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
 - Process and manage payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
 - Review and verify all financial transactions and documents.
 - Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
 - Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting activities.
 - Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
 - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the accounting system.
 - Address accounting-related issues and inquiries from other departments.
 
  Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role.Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.Mastering English (written and spoken) is a must for effective communication with our diverse clients.Willing to adjust to a dynamic working environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skills,A results-oriented mindset with a track record of exceeding targets.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
