Supervise quality checks during welding, painting, and steel fabrication.
Inspect welds visually and with NDT (UT, MT, PT) to ensure they meet standards.
Inspect painting and coating, including surface preparation, paint thickness, and final finish.
Check steel structures and ensure all work matches engineering drawings and project specs.
Read and understand engineering drawings, especially related to steel works.
Prepare daily and weekly quality reports.
Work with welding, painting, and steel teams to fix any problems.
Ensure safety and quality rules are followed.
Assist during site audits or inspections.
At least 3 years of experience in quality control.Experience in steel structure fabrication and inspection.Good knowledge of welding inspection and NDT methods.Experience in coating/painting inspection and using tools like Elcometer.
