- Supervise and manage all mechanical, electrical, and utility systems within the plant.
- Ensure the availability, reliability, and optimal performance of production machinery and support equipment (e.g., corrugators, die cutters, printing lines).
- Lead and manage the entire plant maintenance department (mechanical, electrical, and utilities).
- Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.
- Monitor and improve equipment uptime and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Allocate tasks, supervise maintenance teams, and evaluate performance.
- Oversee maintenance planning, work order tracking, and documentation using SAP or equivalent systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Participate in capital projects, machinery upgrades, and layout modifications.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Manage spare parts inventory and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely availability.
- Analyze maintenance KPIs, prepare technical reports, and recommend improvements.
- Optimize maintenance costs and support energy-saving initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.10–15 years of experience in plant or maintenance engineering, preferably in a packaging or carton manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, utilities, and maintenance systems.Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and maintenance management systems (e.g., SAP).Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations.
