Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Supervisor to oversee all quality control functions at our food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for managing daily and monthly QC operations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will lead efforts in product inspection, quality system management, audit readiness, and team training, while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure timely product release and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise sampling and analysis of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
- Ensure timely release of finished product lots and monitor KPIs.
- Lead environmental monitoring (EMP), foreign matter, pest control, and calibration programs.
- Maintain accurate QC documentation and data systems, including SAP.
- Support and verify GMP compliance across the site.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions (CAPA) for non-conformities.
- Participate in internal/external audits and conduct traceability & mock recall exercises.
- Prepare monthly quality reports, annual KPIs, and QC budgets.
- Develop and execute site-wide quality training plans and participate in management review meetings.
- Lead the establishment and review of QC procedures, specifications, and sampling plans.
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).3+ years of experience in quality control within the food manufacturing industry.Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.Experience with laboratory testing, sampling techniques, and quality assurance systems.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment with a hands-on approachProficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.Very good in EnglishOctober / Zayed Resident.
