The Senior Mechanical Engineer will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of steel construction project and the assembly of mechanical equipment. This position involves planning, verify designing, coordinating, and overseeing the installation, assembly, mechanical equipment’s of the plasterboard line, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards. He will work closely with the project management team, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery, troubleshooting, and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
The Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the complete steel structures Fabrication follow up, erection and mechanical scope of the project, including designs verifications of steel structure, installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment’s.
- manage all aspects of mechanical engineering and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulations.
- Follow Up Steel Structure, Silos & bins Fabrication processes and shipment plant according to project schedule.
- Involves working closely with cross-disciplinary teams, including, EHS, civil, and other departments, to ensure the integration and coordination of mechanical systems with the overall project.
- Provide technical support and guidance to contractors and within the team.
- Develop and implement receiving procedures & Protocol for steel Fabrication & Erection receiving procedure.
Develop and implement testing procedures for mechanical systems (Compressed air and equipment
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will operate in the construction project of the plasterboard line, focusing on the mechanical installation of steel frameworks and equipment’s. his role is essential in ensuring that the erection processes adhere to safety, design, and technical specifications.
- Design & Planning: Oversee mechanical design, installation planning, and integration of steel structures and equipment.
- Project Execution: Manage the mechanical erection phase of projects, ensuring all work complies with specifications, safety standards, and deadlines.
- Quality Assurance & Risk Management: Monitor installation quality, perform inspections, and mitigate risks to prevent delays and cost overruns.
- Team & Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure smooth operations and communication.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 3 years in a senior role.Skills: Strong understanding of construction techniques, and project management. Proficient in design and scheduling software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, Tekla, MS Microsoft, etc).Certifications: Relevant construction or project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Site Management) preferred.Language: Excellent command in spoken and written English.
