- Read and fully interpret P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and mechanical layout drawings.
- Implement P&ID drawings on-site and oversee their execution in real-world installations.
- Supervise all mechanical installation activities for new projects, including piping, equipment mounting, and structural supports.
- Coordinate with design, electrical, and civil teams to ensure proper integration of all project elements.
- Use AutoCAD to review, adjust, or develop mechanical drawings and ensure accuracy.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure work is executed as per project specifications and safety standards.
- Perform mechanical inspections, pressure/leak tests, and support commissioning activities.
- Prepare and maintain “as-built” documentation and progress reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues during installation.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.From 5 to 8 years of experience in mechanical installation of industrial projects (preferably in manufacturing, food, chemical, or similar industries).Strong knowledge of P&ID drawings and their implementation.Proficient in AutoCAD for 2D mechanical drafting.Excellent understanding of piping systems, pumps, tanks, valves, and mechanical equipment.Ability to manage time and resources effectively in a fast-paced project environment.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Willingness to be hands-on and spend time on-site during project execution.
