- Oversee production planning of Float lines, Mirror line and Offline according to the demand, production capacity, delivery planning, warehouse capacity and market requirements.
- Coordinate production workflows across lines to maximize performance and efficiency.
- Analyze and address delays or downtime and adjust campaign/thickness plans to meet customer demands.
- Forecast the resources needed to meet market demand and alignment with production schedules.
- Foster open communication, provide guidance, and support team growth to enhance productivity and morale.
- Collaborate with Warehouse and other supporting teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Develop and monitor production schedules for each line, ensuring a balanced product mix that meets market demands.
- Track inventory levels by recording daily deliveries and order placement and adjusting production schedules to maintain optimal stock levels
- Work with Sales and Marketing teams to facilitate the liquidation of non-moving and slow-moving finished goods inventory.
- Provide management with regular updates on variances between sales and production plans, compiling status and performance reports in a timely manner.
- Assess and plan for future production capacity to meet anticipated demands.
- Implement strategies to optimize production costs and enhance overall efficiency.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.A master’s degree or MBA is a plus. Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) is a plus.Proven experience of more than 10 years in planning, operations, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and trends to inform planning decisions.Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement long-term planning strategies aligned with organizational goals.Project Management: Proficient in managing projects, timelines, and resources effectively.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with various stakeholders.Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions promptly.Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with planning software (e.g., ERP systems, demand forecasting tools) and advanced Excel skills.Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring efficient workflow and collaboration.
