Intertrade, Egypt’s leading producer of PVC gaskets, is looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery, performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical issues to minimize downtime. Additionally, the candidate will oversee maintenance KPIs, implement maintenance strategies, and coordinate maintenance projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on production equipment to ensure efficiency.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical failures in manufacturing machinery.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce unexpected breakdowns.
- Develop and apply maintenance strategies and plans to improve equipment reliability.
- Track and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for maintenance operations (MTBF, MTTR, OEE).
- Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance technicians.
- Plan and oversee maintenance projects, ensuring timely execution and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and cost reports.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.2 - 4 years of experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing for PVC Extrusion Lines.Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.Experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.Ability to read technical drawings and machine schematics.Experience in managing maintenance KPIs and implementing maintenance strategies.Strong leadership and team management skills to supervise technicians.Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance.
