Job Purpose

To Support and troubleshoot Network related problems achieving 99.999% network uptime.

Report To Position Name

Perform site survey of new shops and branches. Supervise other subcontract partners (technicians). Receive Hardware equipments and revise their serial numbers and part numbers. Revise and test new projects cabling. Lay down new cables for Data center equipments. Support existing Data center infrastructure. Install and troubleshoot FAX lines, Data E1 and voice E1 connections. Manage end-users' network and print resources. Install new Network and Security devices. Install IP phones and troubleshoot their problems. Do daily Trouble Tickets. Rearrange all racks and cables in all data rooms in all Etisalat (HQ, IT, PoS, Maadi, Systel and future in Tagamo3 alkhames) in a neat and tidy way. Do periodic maintenance to all PoS to all devices in order to increase its life time. Do periodic maintenance to all devices in all Etisalat buildings. Check periodically to all fans in racks, temperature and AC in all data rooms. Install new cables in PoS and Etisalat buildings (if there is no deal with any external company). Install and help in the movement of cables in data center and data rooms. Fix cabling problems in data centers and data rooms
