This position is responsible for supporting senior management in overseeing the
operations of the IT department, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with
organizational goals. The role will involve managing IT Help Desk operations, monitoring
project quality, and ensuring optimal performance across IT functions. The role will report
directly to the IT Manager. and the work will be in united Arab emirates.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in strategic planning to align IT capabilities with organizational
objectives.
• Assist in preparing departmental budgets and cost estimates for planned initiatives.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for IT infrastructure projects.
• Support the implementation of learning solutions such as Learning Management
Systems.
• Manage IT desktop and web-based applications to ensure seamless operation.
• Oversee helpdesk support operations and evaluate performance quality.
• Contribute to information security management and monitor information flow.
• Manage disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Supervise IT procurement processes, including PR approvals and vendor
assessments.
• Evaluate vendor performance and provide recommendations for contract renewals.
• Lead IT systems automation initiatives and support continuous improvements.
• Manage system and network integrations with internal and external systems.
Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in IT operations, with exposure to
infrastructure and support services.
• Proven experience with IT Help Desk operations and project management.
• SAP experience is a must.
• Strong knowledge of system and network integration.
• Familiarity with information security protocols and business continuity practices.
• Experience in the manufacturing field is required.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in IT management tools and data visualization applications.
