- Receives equipment, materials, or supplies ordered and verifies them against requisition specifications or other documents.
- Prepares and completes orders for delivery or pickup, ensuring tasks like loading, packing, wrapping, labelling, and shipping are done according to schedule.
- Periodically counts inventory and reconciles it with records or inventory tickets, performs annual inventory counts and reconciliations, reports findings to auditors or designated departments, and investigates and resolves discrepancies.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment while optimizing space usage.
- Stores materials, supplies, equipment, etc., based on factors such as weight, temperature, size, safety considerations, or other relevant factors.
- Keeps a record of standard inventory levels and quantities on hand.
- Monitors stagnant items and tracks expiration dates for stored items.
Bachelor of commerce or similar university degree. 2 years of Experience in Storekeeping, inventory control, and recordkeeping.Microsoft Office.
