Job Purpose:

The QC Engineer will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring that all products meet the company's strict specifications and requirements. This position will involve overseeing quality control activities, implementing quality improvement processes, and working closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and meet the increasing demands of the market.
A. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet Dr. Greiche’s high-quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Inspection and Testing: Conduct regular inspections and tests on materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products to detect defects or variations in quality.
- Process Control: Develop and implement robust quality control processes to monitor production activities and identify areas for improvement.
- Data Analysis: Analyze production data, performance metrics, and quality reports to identify trends and root causes of quality issues. Develop and recommend corrective actions to address them.
- Product Documentation: Maintain accurate records of quality control tests, inspections, and actions taken to rectify any quality issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the production, engineering, and procurement teams to identify and resolve quality-related problems.
- Compliance: Ensure that all quality control procedures comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives aimed at improving product quality, reducing defects, and enhancing overall production efficiency.
- Training and Development: Mentor and train production staff and operators in quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices.
- Customer Satisfaction: Address quality complaints and customer feedback to ensure that products meet customer expectations.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on product quality, inspection results, defects, and corrective actions taken.
B. Qualifications/Knowledge/Experience:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Control, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) is a plus.
Professional Experience:
- A minimum of 2-7 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance in the manufacturing or industrial sector, with a focus on glass or similar products being highly desirable.
- Proven experience in implementing quality improvement initiatives and achieving measurable improvements in product quality.
