Microbiology and Chemistry Laboratory Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Microbiology and Chemistry Laboratory Engineer to join our quality team at Egyptian European co. for food products. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing microbiological and chemical analyses in our food production laboratory to ensure product quality, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards. This role is critical in supporting our mission to deliver safe, high-quality food products to our consumers.


Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Industries, Dairy or related field.

• At least three years of experience in food industries, especially in the field of spices, ketchup, and mayonnaise.

• Deep knowledge of food safety standards and quality control procedures.

• Experience in conducting chemical and microbiological analysis of food materials.


Responsibilities:

Conduct periodic analyses to ensure the safety and quality of products and raw materials.

• Develop and improve formulas and recipes to enhance product quality.

• Cooperate with production teams to ensure adherence to quality standards.


1.     Technical Skills:

o  Strong knowledge of microbiological and chemical analyses.

o  Experience with laboratory instrumentation and software related to data analysis.

o  Familiarity with ISO, HACCP, GLP, and other quality standards.


2.     Soft Skills:

o  Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

o  Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.

o  Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

o  Candidates must be able to work under pressure and have effective communication and coordination skills to deal with different teams and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are achieved.
