Job Description

  • Ensure that all computer systems within the hotel operate in a seamless and uninterrupted manner. Responsible for implementing the Information Systems (IS) Operating Instructions and the operations of the department. The IS personnel is responsible for initially responding to any problems that may occur in the system.
  • Solve the problems of computer users according to the practices of the IS Department and the operational standards.
  • Ensure that all IS operations are carried out in the best possible manner.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all computer and network systems deliver uninterrupted services.
  • Monitor actions on the local and Internet network and try to prevent loss of work and time.
  • Carry out the periodic maintenance of all computers at the facility, back them up and keep their records.
  • Make the first intervention for any breakdown reported for a computer, printer or the network distribution system.
  • Protect the local network against internal and external factors. Ensure the security of the system.
  • Perform all duties in full and as soon as possible.
  • Carry out all responsibilities related to the quality management systems implemented at the facilities.
  • Carry out all other duties assigned by managers and hotel management not specified in the job description.

Qualifications

Education: At least a high school or equivalent diploma.

Experience: At least 4 years of related work experience following associate degree or at least 2 years of work experience following undergraduate degree.

Foreign Language: Not required.

Courses and Training: Prior attendance in courses and seminars in the field.

Computer Literacy: Professional level computer and network knowledge.

Skills: Expected to have knowledge of legislation / practices / systems in the related field. Performs specific sequential activities that are related to each other.
