As a Warehouse Manager, your role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to align logistics with company goals, securing services on time at optimal costs, and developing cost models for various warehousing and transportation modes. You will also run benchmarks to ensure optimal service acquisition costs and develop market intelligence tools to stay on top of market dynamics affecting availability and cost trends.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-end accountability for defining warehousing and transportation strategy with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to meet deliverables and cost savings targets.
• Secure KPIs in the best interest of the organization based on industry best practices.
• Ensure all logistics operations comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
• Work closely with key internal and external stakeholders to develop executable sourcing strategies and implementation roadmaps.
• Set up an efficient warehouse management plan, to ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal.
•  Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, gate processes, and shipping.
•  Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
•  Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.
•  Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met
•  Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
•  Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics and floor productivity
•  Schedule and oversee warehouse team to meet the demands, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime
•  Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed
•  Meet regularly with warehouse and transportation team to review, analyse, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention
