Job Summary:

The Cost Controller plays a crucial role in ensuring an organization's financial health and profitability. This position is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and controlling all aspects of the company's expenses to optimize spending and maximize returns

Key Accountabilities:

Cost Analysis and Reporting:

• Develop and maintain accurate cost models and budgets.
• Analyze variances between actual and budgeted costs, identifying and investigating discrepancies.
• Prepare regular cost reports and presentations for management, highlighting key trends and insights.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for new projects and initiatives.

Cost Control and Optimization:

• Implement cost-saving measures and strategies across all departments.
• Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.
• Identify and eliminate wasteful spending and inefficiencies.
• Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize holding costs.
• Financial Forecasting and Planning:
• Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Provide input on pricing strategies and product costing.
• Develop and implement cost control policies and procedures.

Process Improvement:

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance cost efficiency.
• Streamline workflows and eliminate bottlenecks in cost-related processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure cost-effective operations

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to identify cost trends and patterns.
• Develop and maintain accurate financial records and databases.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed.

Qualifications & Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cost control, financial analysis, or a related field.
• Experience in manufacturing or production environment (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
