- Process purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier information.
- Track order status and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Ensure closing of Procurement Cycle with finance after delivery
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and other relevant criteria.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Manage key supplier relationships, monitor performance, and address any issues or discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Develop and maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or service.
- Prepare reports and presentations on procurement activities and performance.
- Participate in cross-functional teams and projects as required.
- Stay up to date on industry best practices and emerging trends in procurement.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in procurement or sourcing. Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and procedures. Proven experience in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software/systems. Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
