PR & Communications Specialist

Overview:

We are looking for a PR and Communications Specialist to join our Marketing and Communications team. This role is crucial in shaping and promoting our brand narrative across multiple platforms, enhancing our corporate image, and building strong relationships with media and key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public relations and communications, with a proven ability to manage campaigns and craft compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Design and execute PR campaigns that align with business goals and promote brand awareness.
  • Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure high-quality media coverage.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate a variety of events, including press conferences, trade shows, and product launches to increase brand visibility.
  • Reputation Management: Monitor and manage public perception, handling crisis situations and maintaining a positive brand image.
  • Internal Communications: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency and align messaging with corporate goals.
  • Social Media Support: Work with the social media team to amplify PR efforts through online platforms.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Track and analyze PR campaign results, providing insights and recommendations to improve future strategies.
  • Coordinate and organize meetings with government entities and stakeholder, ensuring smooth communication and timely follow ups.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in PR and communications.
  • Proven experience in coordinating meetings and maintaining effective communication with government entities and official stakeholder.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives tailored to various audiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and working in a multinational environment.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management skills including prioritizing, scheduling and adapting when necessary.
  • Language skills: Fluency in English and Arabic, written and verbal. Fluency in other languages is advantageous.
  • Ability to build relationships and network effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel as required meeting clients and attending industry events.
